Oscar Piovosi is the figurative painter most faithful to his era. Indeed, using the lemmas and grammar of the Roman school and tonalism, Piovosi immortalizes three young girls perfectly sculpted by stark light in the act of transferring photographs from their cell phones. If at one time they might have exchanged gossip, newspaper clippings and secret diaries, today in the time of baby call girls send messages with unknown contents, perhaps innocent perhaps illegal, but with the same happiness as in the past, with the same uncertain and confused adolescence.
